GoT's Emilia Clarke goes topless again, but this time she's unrecognizable
She went topless for a pivotal scene on Game of Thrones and now Emilia Clarke is doing it again — this time in print. And no one was burned alive, that we know of, at least.
Clarke covers this month's issue of Violet Grey, and her stunningly dramatic look is totally unrecognizable from her GoT character, Daenerys Targaryen.
While the black and white topless pic is stunning enough, the mag shared a couple of her super-glam fashion shots on their Instagram.
Compare those to her topless look on GoT a couple of weeks ago:
Totally unrecognizable from the Mother of Dragons, right? So how does she get into character? It's all in the details.
"Find out how the character walks," she told the mag. "You know what shoes she's wearing — the way you hold yourself in heels is very different from the way you hold yourself in Crocs."
And she gains her inspiration from living life to the fullest. "Living as much as I can. Actors I admire, different people, different environments, cultures, books, movies, music, whatever it might be," she said. "I love it when you go out and see good stuff, good movies, good plays. It makes you go, 'I want to do that!' You see a play and it's like, 'I want to get up on stage! I want to do it with them! I want to be a part of it!'"
You can see Clarke on Game of Thrones Sundays on HBO and in the new flick Me Before You, in theaters now.
