While Sharon was absent from her day job yesterday while dealing with a personal issue — which we all took as her split from Ozzy — she was back on The Talk today, complete with a tall glass of cold lemonade.
Looks like everyone is taking lessons from Beyoncé.
Just days after news broke that she kicked Ozzy out of the house after she reportedly found evidence he cheated with his hair stylist, Sharon confirmed the split to her audience.
“I’ve been avoiding looking at any pictures, reading anything. I know what’s going on. I don’t need to read about it and see about it because it’s like putting salt on a wound. I don’t need to,” she said.
“I honestly cannot thank people enough for backing me, for saying they love me. Everybody here at my home supporting me, sending me messages of love,” she said emotionally. “I honestly, honestly am empowered and have found this inner strength. OK — what’s next? I can handle this.
“It’s right for me,” she said. “I have no idea what I am going to be doing for the rest of my life. I don’t know where I am going, who I’m going with, and I just need time to think and really think about myself and what I really want for the rest of my life, because this is really like getting to the last chapter of the book, and I really want to think about it very carefully where I want to go.
“I am 63 years of age and I can’t keep living like this,” she added.
Despite her words, Sharon was still wearing her wedding ring, so there may still be hope for the couple after all — but she said she has no idea what will ultimately happen.
“I honestly don’t know,” she said. “I can’t cry about anything because there’s nothing to cry about.”
So far, the only comment Ozzy has had is to deny claims he fell off the wagon.
