Kylie Jenner's Met Gala dress was so uncomfortable it made her bleed
If we ever needed proof that beauty is pain, here it is: Kylie Jenner's Met Gala dress literally made her bleed.
This was Jenner's first year attending the annual gala, where celebs gather dressed to the nines to support New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Eighteen-year-old Jenner wore a gorgeous silver see-through Balmain dress made of what looked like heavy chains, perfectly fitting the theme of the event: fashion in the age of technology.
But the dress had a serious downside. Apparently, the heavy embellishments at the bottom of the skirt were cutting into Jenner's legs all night. After the event, she took to Snapchat to show off a picture of her battle wounds.
"When ur dress made you bleed and ur feet are purple," she captioned the shot. Ouch!
Still, Jenner seems to have learned early on that a little pain can be necessary for her level of fame. She followed up the shot later with a selfie captioned, "It was worth it though."
Jenner made just about every best-dressed list for the event, along with her family who attended with her: Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Kendall Jenner. The entire family rocked Balmain — Kylie used to be the face of the brand — except for Kendall, who wore a Versace gown.
