Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton pack on the PDA at the Radio Disney Music Awards
Gwen Stefani had a big night at the Radio Disney Music Awards Saturday, April 30, airing Sunday, May 1. She was honored with the 2016 Radio Disney Hero Award, and boyfriend Blake Shelton was there proudly beaming by her side.
Fellow Voice coach Pharrell Williams presented Stefani with the special honor, saying, "I'm proud to be here tonight to present the 2016 RDMA Hero Award to not only someone I work with, recorded with, who I know, and what my brother, Blake Shelton, knows, truly has a heart of gold."
As Stefani stood up to accept her award, Shelton gave her a passionate kiss on the cheek. The couple also held hands throughout the night as they sat together in the audience.
"This is crazy that this is happening to me!" Stefani said during her acceptance speech. "I never thought, I mean, who am I, that I would ever make a difference? I am so honored to be here. I am so honored to be making music."
Stefani also performed her single "Make Me Like You" and brought her niece Stella along for the Disney fun.
During an interview with E! News on the red carpet, Stefani opened up about her heroes, saying, "I have so many heroes. My mama. My dad. I said Pharrell. He really has. There's been certain people that have pointed me in the right direction, reminded me how blessed I am. My children... They are all around me, my angels."
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Stefani admitted that she's "for sure" in love with Shelton but didn't want to talk about their relationship during the interview.
"I don't really want to go into that relationship," Stefani told Vanity Fair. "And God knows what’s going to happen."
However, the couple does have a duet coming out soon that will definitely be a special track.
"I am excited because I never in my wildest dreams thought I would write a song with that guy," Stefani joked to E! News. "He's so talented. He's an amazing writer. Every time I collaborate with anyone I feel like it's the best thing I've ever done. Whenever I collaborate, it lifts me."
