Khloé Kardashian's concerns about Kendall's boyfriend are totally normal
Kendall Jenner is definitely one of the more private members of the Kardashian clan, and she tends to keep her romances under wraps, so the world never really knows how serious she is about a man. Except, she's reportedly getting very close to her new boyfriend, NBA player Jordan Clarkson.
However, Jenner's older sister, Khloé Kardashian, is worried that she's going to get hurt.
According to Hollywood Life, a source has revealed that while Khloé is pleased her baby sister is happy, she's also concerned that she's getting too serious with Clarkson too soon, and her reason for concern is simple: She believes NBA players have a bad reputation for cheating.
"Kendall and Jordan are really taking things to the next level and while Khloé wants her sister to be happy and in love, she's concerned," the source told the publication. "Khloé knows all too well the games, shenanigans and heartbreaks associated with dating a man in the NBA. That said, she wants to sit down with Jordan so she can vet him and find out what his intentions are! No disrespect to Jordan. Khloé knows him and he's a nice guy — but he's talking to her sister and Khloé's over protective of her family. Really can't blame her.
"After catching James in his lies and dealing with Lamar's bs, she could write a book on how slimy some NBA dudes are. She just want to make absolutely sure that Jordan is as sweet and innocent as he looks. Otherwise, he'll have serious problems with Khloé."
Of course, these fears are perfectly valid as Khloé has experienced firsthand the heartbreak of being cheated on by an NBA player, but not everyone is the same, and it seems unfair to judge Clarkson just because of his profession. Plus, Khloé's feelings toward Clarkson are totally normal, and it's great to know that she's looking out for her sister, in fact, if anything, her reservations toward Clarkson come from a place of love.
But it's also important to remember that every relationship is different, and so far, Clarkson seems like an absolute gem, seriously.
"He is super sweet and a total gentleman and Kendall loves that," an insider told the publication. "He is a genuine nice guy and treats her like a person and not like a celebrity. He doesn't care who her family is and they just have a good time together."
