We don’t know how we feel about Blake Shelton popping the big question

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may have some major milestones on the horizon, leaving fans with just one question: Will they tie the knot first, or will they try for the baby that Shelton reportedly wants?

According to sources, their five-month relationship is definitely serious.

Blake could propose to Gwen very soon,” one insider close to the couple revealed to Us Weekly. “Gwen is everything he wants.”

And in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Stefani revealed that she is “for sure” in love with Shelton.

But will they hurry up and get married, or will they skip right ahead into starting a family? According to Us Weekly‘s source, Shelton is in it for Stefani’s three sons — Kingston, Zuma and Apollo — as much as he is for her, and the boys feel the same way.

“With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda,” the insider said, adding, “Her kids love him as much as she does.”

As much as Shelton loves Stefani’s kids from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale, the source says Shelton wants kids of his own, and that 46-year-old Stefani is “willing to try.”

As much as we love and support Shelton and Stefani as a couple, though, seeing them getting married and having kids of their own would feel a little bittersweet. It would signal the official end of the era that gave us two of the cutest celebrity couples of all time: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, and Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. We love Shelton and Stefani together and we’re glad they seem happy, but is it wrong that we’re still harboring a little hope that Shelton and Lambert will reconcile?
