Paris Jackson's new boyfriend made her birthday wishes come true
Paris Jackson just celebrated a huge milestone with her new boyfriend by her side.
The daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, just turned 18. She celebrated her official entrance into adulthood with her family at grandma Katherine Jackson's (Michael's mom) place in Calabasas, California.
"Paris was in great spirits," a source reportedly close to the family told Us Weekly. That source also revealed that Paris' mom, Debbie Rowe, attended her party, and that Paris spent most of her time with her new boyfriend, Michael Snoddy.
Paris has been sharing snapshots of her birthday celebrations since she officially turned 18 on April 3. In several of the snaps, she's just hanging out with Snoddy. Though he's a relatively new fixture in her life, the two are obviously happy and spending a ton of time together.
Paris also shared a photo of the tattoo she got on her 18th birthday, in honor of her dad. “’Queen of My Heart’ in his handwriting. To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart. Thank you @dermagraphink, you're a legend,” she wrote in the photo's caption on Instagram.
Paris was only 11 when her dad died in 2009. The two were reportedly very close, and the years that followed included a suicide attempt and a lengthy stay in rehab for Paris, who has openly admitted to struggling with alcohol addiction and attending AA meetings.
"She was so close to her dad and is still dealing with his death,” a source told Us Weekly. “It all comes back to that. She's sober but struggling a lot. It just hit her tremendously hard."
After everything she's been through, we're so happy to see Paris doing well. Happy 18th, Paris Jackson!
