A very special guest star is coming to NCIS. According to The Washington Post, first lady Michelle Obama will appear in an episode alongside Mark Harmon. Anyone else think FLOTUS will give Gibbs a run for his money?

Details surrounding the scene and episode have yet to be unveiled, but it's definitely going to be an exciting one. Seeing as NCIS films in Los Angeles, it will be great to see scenes filmed in Washington, D.C., where the show takes place.

According to photojournalist Greg Mathieson (via The Washington Post), Harmon revealed that he would film inside and outside the White House Monday. The 64-year-old actor also reportedly told Mathieson that, yes, Michelle Obama would be part of a scene as well.

The news was also confirmed by Dennis Smith, who appears to be directing the episode. I think it's safe to say that he (and probably everyone else involved) is overjoyed to film in D.C. and with FLOTUS.

So, what kind of role do you think Obama will play? I'm going to assume she'll be portraying herself, but I wonder how she'll factor into the episode?

It appears that Harmon will be the only one filming with Obama, so does anyone else think Tony, McGee, Abby, Bishop, Ducky, Palmer, Vance and everyone else back at NCIS will be jealous of Gibbs' encounter with the first lady? I can only imagine how they'll react.

After 13 seasons, it's about time a major political figure like Obama appeared on NCIS, don't you think?

NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
