Alex Rodriguez, the superstar Yankee who’s as well known for his famous dance card as his batting average, has a new girlfriend, according to Page Six — Anne Wojcicki, the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin. It’s a George Clooney/Amal Alamuddin move for a man who has been tied to Kate Hudson, Madonna, and Cameron Diaz.

According to Page Six, Rodriguez and Wojcicki have been dating for more than a month and were spotted at Graydon Carter’s pre-Super Bowl party in San Francisco (where, nbd, January Jones, Adriana Lima, Amy Adams, Nick and Joe Jonas, and Jon Bon Jovi also attended). They also dined together last week in Tampa, Florida, where A-Rod is stationed for spring training. The two are even making their business trips coincide: A-Rod supported his new boo in the audience when she spoke at a satellite event for the Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting, also in Tampa.

“Alex and Anne are spending time together and have been on a few dates. It is very new. He finds her interesting, inspirational and very smart,” a source said to Page Six. Perhaps even more important, writes Page Six, since Wojcicki is worth billions, “Rodriguez has found one of the few single women actually richer than himself.”
A-Rod has finally found someone who can travel in her own private jet behind the Yankees’ jet. Kudos to the happy, rich couple.
