Why Top Chef's Marjorie Meek-Bradley wasn't surprised by her elimination
Top Chef's Marjorie Meek-Bradley was sent packing last night on the show. And while viewers were definitely disappointed to see the departure of the last woman standing, Meek-Bradley was more understanding of the judges' decision.
We chatted with her to get her take on the season, including who she wants to win.
SheKnows: Who is your favorite Top Chef contestant of all time and why?
Marjorie Meek-Bradley: Jenn Carroll. She is an inspiration. I basically wanted to be her when I watched Season 6.
SK: Were you surprised by your elimination?
MMB: Not at all. It was not a challenge that played to my strengths. Amar crushed it and I am happy for him.
SK: What was it like working with all the judges on the show?
MMB: Amazing. I learned so much and grew as a person from their feedback.
SK: Which contestant do you think deserves to win? Or who are you rooting for?
MMB: Everyone was soooooo talented, but at this point, I am pulling for Amar.
SK: Who did you consider your biggest competition?
MMB: Myself. It is hard to not get inside your head and go a little crazy.
SK: Was there anyone on the show you really clashed with? Who was it and why?
MMB: I really respected everyone there. Some people more than others.
SK: Who is your favorite out of the judges and why?
MMB: They are all so different, it is impossible to pick. I really liked them all.
SK: Who do you think deserved to go home on last night's episode?
MMB: I suppose I was out-cooked in that final challenge for sure. Must have been nice to have LCK [Last Chance Kitchen].
SK: What was the best experience you had on the show?
MMB: Getting to know so many amazing talented people.
SK: What was the biggest challenge for you on the show?
MMB: To not let my nerves get the best of me.
