While we won’t officially get to find out who Ben Higgins chooses to be his future bride on this season of The Bachelor until next week’s finale, tonight’s Women Tell All special gave us much to digest in the meantime — namely, which of the lovely ladies formerly vying for Higgins’ attention will be crowned the next Bachelorette.

While tonight’s episode did not include such an announcement (no matter how hard we’d hoped it would), there were certainly what some may consider context clues.
Then again, it’s still really anyone’s ball game at this point. However, statistics tell us that the next Bachelorette is likely to be one of the women in Higgins’ final four. Obviously, that means we’re potentially looking at a season of Caila Quinn, Amanda Stanton, JoJo Fletcher or Lauren Bushnell handing out roses to a roomful of hopeful suitors in the near future.
So, based on tonight’s Women Tell All special, as well as some of the juicy info floating around the interwebz, here are the top contenders for next Bachelorette, ranked from most to least likely.
1. Caila Quinn

If you’re the type to place any stock in the rumor mill, Quinn has already been offered this coveted gig. One site goes so far as to insist Quinn is the girl for the job and even claims to know who her suitors are — among them Jordan Rodgers, the little brother of Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, as well as former alums of The Bachelor franchise, Josh Murray and Jesse Palmer.
For her part, Quinn doesn’t seem to be ruling out the possibility. On Good Morning America, she said of being tapped, “It’s something I definitely would consider. My No. 1 priority in life is to find the one for me. So if it works for others, it could work for me.” It doesn’t hurt that she got a ton of face time on tonight’s special, the audience clearly adores her and she’s a total class act.
2. JoJo Fletcher

There’s good news and there’s bad news for Fletcher if this turns out to be true. The good news, naturally, is that she’d helm her own season of the hit ABC dating series. The bad news, of course, would be that her scoring the job would mean she gets her heart shattered by Ben Higgins on next week’s finale.
Perhaps the pressure from Fletcher’s family during hometown visits helped Higgins narrow his focus and realize he wasn’t ready to give Fletcher his heart in its entirety. After all, her bros were pretty intense. Fans have been campaigning on social media for Fletcher to get the Bachelorette bid for weeks now, hoping that if Higgins does leave her high and dry she’ll at least have the promise of lots of sexy suitors’ shoulders to cry on soon enough.
3. Jubilee

Hear me out. I realize that Jubilee might seem like a bit of a long shot given that she was a bit of a wild card, she wasn’t in the top four, etc, etc. But did you see her tonight on the Women Tell All special? She was so full of poise and showed such remarkable growth. Not to mention the fact that no one can deny what an amazing woman she is and how deserving she is of finding someone special. Is Jubilee complicated? Sure. You know who else is? Lots of incredibly interesting women, particularly ones with tragic pasts like Jubilee.

There’s also the case to be made for diversity. In the 14 years the franchise has been on the air, there has only been one non-white lead. This is troubling, no? A strong, Haitian-born black woman like Jubilee would bring much-needed diversity to the series and make the case that it’s OK for women to be complex. We should be complex. There’s no one right way to be a woman.
4. Becca Tilley

So close, yet so far away. On her second shot at love via The Bachelor, Becca came in “fifth place.” And while that places her outside of the historically chosen final four, it doesn’t preclude the fact that she was a fan favorite coming into this season — and she remains one to this day. Who doesn’t love this sweet, bubbly, straight-shooting chick? She’s gorgeous and fun and gets along with nearly everyone. I can’t imagine a guy who wouldn’t want the chance to date her, and she has the kind of likability that would make female fans want to watch along and root for her. Case in point? At this very moment, Becca is dominating SheKnows‘ online poll with over 60 percent of the vote.
5. Amanda Stanton

Don’t get me wrong — Amanda is a total sweetheart. This California native appears to have a heart of gold and is an amazing mom to her two daughters. Therein lies the rub, though. I can’t imagine how producers would work it so that a mom could be on a show with a format like this with two young children in tow. What’s more, I can’t imagine that a mom like Amanda would even want to put her little girls through that kind of emotional upheaval and general chaos.
