One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is taking legal action over his newborn son
One Direction's Louis Tomlinson became a first-time father on Jan. 21, after baby mama and close friend, Briana Jungwirth, gave birth to their son, Freddie Reign — but it looks as though their co-parenting is not going as planned.
According to TMZ, Tomlinson and Jungwirth are about to become embroiled in a bitter custody battle because Jungwirth is reportedly not letting him see his son.
Sources connected with Tomlinson told the publication that Jungwirth has "gotten greedy" and is demanding more money from Tomlinson, and that she's using their newborn son as leverage.
It's a turn that fans never would have expected, as Tomlinson and Jungwirth appeared to be making things work, despite the fact they are no longer linked romantically.
Tomlinson also really stepped up to the plate when he learned Jungwirth was pregnant, ensuring she was well taken care of, including getting her a swanky home in Calabasas, California, while he made the decision to rent a $21 million mansion in Los Angeles so he could be closer to his son.
So, what is Tomlinson hoping to achieve with this new legal battle?
According to TMZ, he hopes to get an order forcing Jungwirth to give him some custodial rights, including significant access to his son.
Tomlinson certainly appears to be a doting dad, and his social media pages are filled with images of himself and his son, so, hopefully he will be able to have him as a permanent fixture in his life.
