Kaley Cuoco reveals she's still haunted by her short-lived marriage
Kaley Cuoco stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and shed some light on how she's coping with her divorce from Ryan Sweeting.
After less than two years of marriage, Cuoco and Sweeting mutually decided to split, according to People. Today, Cuoco is attempting to move on — which includes press appearances, a new positive attitude and even covering up the tattoo she got of their wedding anniversary.
Holding back tears, Cuoco confessed to DeGeneres, "You know, so I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. And you know, it’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I'm in a much better place than I was."
That means she's losing all reminders of the short-lived marriage, like turning her wedding anniversary tattoo into one of a moth. "[The moth] was big enough to cover the numbers... big wings. It's just what I picked out when I was there," says Cuoco.
As People reported, the couple split in September after trying to reconnect through date nights and romantic evenings out. They seemed miserable said a source familiar with the couple. "Kaley and Ryan seem to have totally different personalities," said the source in September. "Kaley is extremely focused and high-energy. She seems to always be working. On her off time, she also keeps very busy." Kudos to Cuoco for putting that energy to work for a positive 2016.
