Giudice took to Instagram to comment on how her “angel” had gone too soon, posting a sweet throwback picture of herself and Raiola. She captioned it, “Such sad news, gone way too soon. Rest in peace angel. #kisstheonesyoulove.”
She later followed up with another post as she remembered the “good times” they had shared.
Raiola had been battling a terminal diagnosis of lung and brain cancer, and the reaction to her death is evidence of how many lives she touched.
“Big Ang, one in a million xx so sad xx,” kayleigh1963 wrote.
“How tragic,” impossiblychic shared. “I cried when I found out! All for a woman I’ve never met — that’s how special of a gift she was to this world!”
Commenter sarahrosemarie1 wrote, “On [sic] No So Sad Loved You Big Ang Rest in Paradise.” And sleone801 paid tribute to the late star with a touching post, writing, “I only know Big Ang from Mob Wives and truly was very sad. RIP!!!”
Giudice has also been profoundly affected by Raiola’s death, as she previously tweeted about how she was “one of a kind and such a beautiful person.”
