Of course, Shay was sure to say on her Instagram that Hydroxycut isn’t the only reason behind her crazy-gorgeous bod.
She cleared up rumors with a photo of her looking buff and pumping some serious iron in the gym.
“Hydroxycut keeps me energized and is a great substitute for coffee in the mornings and before workouts!” she explained, adding that diet and exercise led to her initial toning and fat burning.
But that hasn’t stopped the brand from promoting Shay’s “ab-solutely great” look.
Even her personal trainer Seth Browning got in on spreading the word about her new campaign.
“What an incredible journey,” Browning wrote. “Seems like just yesterday @scheanamarie came to me wanting to ‘lose some weight’ and tone up. Today she stands before you as the new spokesmodel for one of the worlds best selling fitness supplements, @hydroxycut I’m so proud of her blood, sweat and tears that led her here. Sky is the Fing limit (sic)!”
And while a lot of Shay’s followers supported her decision to rep the product, saying how fantastic she looks, others weren’t as impressed.
Shay isn’t the only reality star jumping on the Hydroxycut promotion bandwagon. The Bachelor‘s Sean Lowe is also now supporting the product.
But it seems that both these reality TV stars are being careful to educate their followers on how they’re using the product. It’s not a miracle fix to lose weight, but rather a supplement that can help them stay motivated as they hit the gym.
And if it works for them and they’re using a product in a safe way, then more power to them!
Fitness is all about finding a regimen that works for you, personally. So congrats to Shay for finding her rhythm and expanding her brand all in one.
