Bringing Up Bates' Michaela and Brandon have lots of honeymoon 'firsts'
For a couple who didn't even have their first kiss until the wedding, it's safe to assume the honeymoon is all about new experiences together. But Michaela Bates (now Keilen) and Brandon Keilen took it to a whole other level during their Montana adventure together after their wedding.
Bringing Up Bates tonight was all about showcasing their time together, post-wedding. And while they kept the intimate details off-camera, they did tease enough to assume they were thoroughly exploring all aspects of firsts beyond just kissing.
Who knew fly-fishing could turn into sexy talk?
But that's exactly what happened when Brandon proposed the two of them go out for a day and try the sport together. It was something Michaela had never done before, but she was clearly all for it.
"It'd be another first," Brandon said as the two sat arm to arm enjoying their morning meal.
"I love having firsts with you," Michaela responded with a smile.
Ah-hem. I'm pretty sure we're not talking about fishing anymore.
And, can I just say, good for them! Like I said last week, the idea of no intimacy before marriage is an idea I, personally, find intimidating. There are so many ways it could go wrong. But clearly, everything is going right for Brandon and Michaela because their honeymoon is all sorts of adorable.
Between their easy transition to comfortable affection with one another, to their constant compliments and support, their honeymoon — like their wedding — continues to feel like something out of a Disney movie.
A Disney movie with some not-so-kid-friendly subtext, that is.
After their meal, Brandon asks Michaela, "What do you want to do now? Do you want to look around a little bit."
But she's not so keen and he senses it.
"You don't look like you want to look around," Brandon says. And she shakes her head. "Do you want to go back to the room?"
"That would be nice," Michaela responds without hesitating.
Now that's a woman who isn't afraid to express her wants and desires, and it's pretty fantastic. Clearly, the only reason these two even bothered with fly-fishing was because Bringing Up Bates needed something they could actually show from Michaela and Brandon's honeymoon. It doesn't get anymore romantic than that!
