TLC may put Josh Duggar back on TV with rebooted 19 Kids and Counting
With a new season of 19 Kids and Counting on the way, viewers have one question on their minds: Where's Josh?
TLC has yet to confirm the new season, but a film crew has been following the family around, according to a fan Facebook group found by The Inquisitr. The series will purportedly revolve around Jana Duggar's courtship and, knowing TLC, journey to the altar and delivery room.
TLC has stated that their "priority is making sure that there’s a health and well-being of our families first and foremost." They pulled the series when the allegations broke last year, after sponsors like Crayola canceled their advertisements. Does that mean that alleged child molester Josh won't be allowed to return to cash in on his sisters-slash-victims? According to the fan page, the show has filmed one segment so far: Jana and Anna Duggar in a hardware store, buying wood for a tree house. Not quite the hard-hitting stuff one would expect of a family dealing with such destructive issues.
Fans are furious about the idea of Josh coming back to the show. Commenters have no interest in seeing Josh, likely participating in light family fun and not discussing how he harmed his family, on their screens. "They gave him a second chance when he was a kid, he blew that second chance. The tumor needs to be forcibly removed imo." TLC has yet to officially confirm a new series title or cast.
