RHOBH's Kathryn Edwards sparks outrage over entitled behavior
Kathryn Edwards is poised to take Brandi Glanville's place as the most controversial Housewife in Beverly Hills. She adds plenty of juicy drama to the show, but viewers are already annoyed by her determination to flaunt her wealth.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers and cast members are still getting to know Kathryn Edwards, but if tonight's episode is any indication, she'll have a long and prosperous career as a Housewife. Her penchant for drama and her opulent lifestyle definitely garner strong reactions.
Reality TV stars certainly aren't shy about showing off their expensive possessions and lavish lifestyles, but during tonight's episode of RHOBH, Edwards took this concept to a new extreme. She decided to give viewers a glimpse into her luxurious life while enjoying a private shopping spree courtesy of her husband, retired NFL player Donnie Edwards.
If gawking at million-dollar jewels wasn't enough to annoy viewers, Edwards also boldly proclaimed how she refuses to fly anything but first class. In fact, she is disgusted by the mere thought of flying (gasp) business class. While fancy means of travel are expected on RHOBH (who could forget Erika Jayne's private jet?), the other Housewives at least make some effort at stifling their condescending behavior.
Needless to say, Edwards' attitude didn't exactly sit well with viewers, who can usually tolerate the over-the-top luxury displayed by the Housewives — as long as they are somewhat tactful about it. Several viewers took to Twitter to complain about the latest addition to RHOBH's cast.
Surprisingly enough, a few viewers actually enjoyed Edwards' presence on RHOBH. These Edwards fans claimed that the newbie was eager to keep it real, unlike her fellow Housewives. Most viewers, however, agree that Edwards is the most annoying gal in an already-annoying group of women.
She may be intolerable for certain viewers, but Edwards is actually a great fit for RHOBH, as the show has been in need of some non-Lyme disease drama for quite some time. With Edwards causing so much chaos, viewers can finally rest assured knowing that, while the cast will discuss Yolanda Foster's health way more than necessary, this isn't about to simply become the new version of RHOC's cancergate. With Edwards' help, the show will get back to the drama levels experienced during the golden age of Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards.
