Sister Wives' Robyn Brown debuts her new baby on TLC (VIDEO)
The Brown family of TLC's Sister Wives has welcomed another addition to their already large brood. Baby Ariella Mae was born to Robyn and Kody on Jan. 10. They're revealing the details on their newest bundle of joy.
The Sister Wives brood has expanded yet again! Say hello to Robyn and Kody’s latest addition — a beautiful baby girl named Ariella Mae, who was welcomed into the family fold on Sunday, Jan. 10 at their home in Las Vegas. The little girl arrived fashionably late — two days after Robyn’s original due date — but her arrival was nonetheless heralded as a blessing for the family, whose children now number 18 in total.
Baby Ariella is the second child for Robyn and Kody (Solomon is their oldest and Robyn has three from a previous marriage), and while that makes them old pros at parenting, they’ve admitted that finding the perfect name for the tiny tot was somewhat of a struggle. Right after welcoming her daughter into the world, Robyn said, “Right now we haven’t decided on a name. We have been searching for the right one for months, but nothing has felt right. We are just getting to know her now and waiting until she whispers it in our ear.”
Since then, the little girl must have made her voice heard loud and clear. Now fans online want to make sure they get her moniker right. One asked Robyn via Twitter, “Is it ‘air-iella’ or ‘aahhh-riella’? Hope it makes sense. Want to say your sweet girl’s name properly. #ariellamae.” Robyn set the record straight. “'Ar' like in 'star.' It is Hebrew. We will call her Ari or Aria for short.”
Baby Ari is already finding her way into the family dynamic. Robyn said, "Baby sister is already opening her eyes and seems to love listening to all the voices of her big family talk around her. It was such a beautiful moment when the family was all gathered together to meet our newest sweet addition.”
Season 7 of the TLC show will air sometime in 2016.
