Foxx is now a real-life action hero after he reportedly saved a man from a fiery car wreck outside his home.

According to the New York Daily News, Foxx heard the wreck happen outside the gate of his home in the Hidden Valley neighborhood of northwest Los Angeles Monday night. He called 911, and then ran to the street to see if he could assist. Reports say the driver of the car skidded on wet roads, hit a ditch and rolled the car over. Foxx found the man injured inside the smoking, upside down car.

Reports say that Foxx, worried the car might explode, unbuckled the man, and then dragged him about 30 feet away from the accident. First responders arrived soon after and transported the driver to a local hospital with injuries, the New York Daily News reports.
