The world experienced great sadness following the announcement that David Bowie had died on Sunday and while multiple people have taken to social media to pay tribute to the legendary singer this may be the cutest one yet.
An Irish teacher decided to get her pupils’ creative juices flowing by asking them to complete their usual assignments but this time with a David Bowie theme and mum Jill Jordon was so impressed with her son Dominic’s work that she decided to share it on her Facebook page, Properfud – Raising Dudes and Family Food.
The image shows Dominic’s drawing skills, which include an astronaut named Tom taking a trip to outer space. And if this doesn’t automatically make you have an “ah” moment, then perhaps this video will jog your memory.
The proud Dublin mum captioned the post with, “Kid got Bowie themed homework. Love his teacher for that.
You wouldn’t have gotten that from the nuns. (sic)”
Jordon wasn’t the only person who was impressed with her son’s skills. Comments on the post include “That’s brilliant!,” “His colouring is impressive…,” as well as a simple “Fabulous!!”
Jordon also shared her thoughts during an interview with the Daily Mail, saying, “It was a very sweet tribute by a teacher who’s a big Bowie fan. He [Dominic] has the same birthday as David Bowie so we had been playing a Best Of Bowie CD at home on their birthday last Friday.”
