Emma Watson has an epic name for her book club, thanks to fans
Emma Watson has decided to start a feminist book club, and because she's awesome, she wanted to get fans involved and help her name it.
Taking to Twitter, Watson informed fans of her decision, and asked for their help to create a catchy title — because TBH hers were lacking slightly in creativity — and fans have reacted to the request with great excitement.
But what reading material can we expect on the list?
So far we know that author, feminist and social activist Bell Hooks will be on the list — a woman whom Watson was fortunate enough to meet earlier this year.
J.K. Rowling, Taylor Swift and Sophia Bush are just some of the other women who will be invited to be a part of it. Sounds pretty amazing already, right?
We were wracking our brains trying to come up with a brilliant name — some suggestions from fans included "She for She," "Women's writes," "Hermione's Army" and "Sisterhood of Prose, by Emma Watson" — but it looks as though we are too late because Watson has already decided, thanks to a little help from Twitter user @emilyfabb, and the name will now be "Our Shared Shelf".
Watson is certainly no stranger to feminism, and she has loaned her voice to causes that she believes in and has fought hard for gender equality, so that makes her the perfect person to create a book club for women. Watch this space!
