The Kardashians’ lives play out in the media, and it’s because of this that people feel they have the right to criticize their relationships. And in particular, Khloé Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner’s relationship has attracted critics’ attention.
On Sunday, Kardashian posted a religious quote to Instagram, which reads, “Forgiveness of mankind, of everyone in every circumstance, is our ticket to Heaven, our only way home.”
Kardashian chose not to caption the post, as the words speak for themselves, but she most probably did not anticipate the reaction she received from critics.
Critics took the quote as an opportunity to call Kardashian out for the “shameful” and disrespectful way she speaks to her mother.
“Yur [sic] sister and you will regret treating your mother the way you do. I have eatched [sic] ur show and been a big fan but watching u guys Treat [sic] your mother like that has made me lose interest,” kdeleon62yahoocom wrote, adding, “Remember you only have one… and there is nothing in this world that can replace her. I lost mine when she was 46 and wish everyday [sic] of my life that I had her back.”
_Chrysanthe_ also criticized Kardashian for her attitude toward her mom. She wrote, “This doesn’t give you carte blanche to hurt you [sic] Mom. There’s s [sic] saying… Apologies are for the person giving them….”
And elegua93 agreed, writing, “I agree she and the others don’t treat their mother with kindness and respect. @khloekardashian it’s shameful!”
Kardashian’s quote was no doubt meant to inspire others to treat people better, but critics feel she should practice what she preaches. Instagram user curleighqI decided to share their thoughts with Kardashian, too, and their hope that she will appreciate Jenner in the future.
They wrote, “find it interesting how 1 minute you are talking about God and the next minute you are talking to your mother with absolutely no respect on the show. You and your sisters talk terrible to her and you should never call your mom names EVER. She has done so much for all of you and I really hope you start treating her better. I know it’s none of my business but I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking that..@khloekardashian.”
