Behati Prinsloo called it.
Prinsloo appeared Tuesday on Watch What Happens Live, and Andy Cohen grilled her about the new couple. She didn’t admit to knowing about the relationship before it went public, but said, “We kind of called it ahead of time just because they were both kind of going through a moment. They’re so different but so perfect for each other, so I didn’t know, but I I felt it.”
Shelton and Stefani’s relationship was confirmed as of November. Stefani’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly, “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.”
In a November interview with Ryan Seacrest, Gwen was coy about the romance but said, “It is kind of crazy that we both went through the same thing at the same time.” They each went through a difficult divorce this year: Shelton split from wife of four years, Miranda Lambert, and Stefani divorced after her ex Gavin Rossdale’s alleged affair.
Clearly, we’ve found a valuable insider in Behati Prinsloo — will she share more as Hollywood’s new favorite couple gets more serious? Or is she about to get an angry call from Gwen and Blake as we speak? Gwen-Blake fans, you know who to keep an eye on for more intel.
