Eva Longoria got engaged to longtime boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston on Sunday, Dec. 13.
How romantic! Eva Longoria posted a gorgeous photo on Instagram to announce her engagement to the world.
“Ummmm so this happened,” she captioned the photo with hashtags “Engaged,” “Dubai,” and “Happiness.”

The Telenovela star is in Dubai with her billionaire fiancé, Jose Antonio Baston, for the Global Gift Foundation, a non-profit that helps create better lives for women, children and families in need. But it wasn’t all work. The couple took some time to relax in the desert during sunset, and the romantic setting was the perfect place for Baston to pop the question. They sealed the engagement with a kiss and a photo to capture it all, including the ring!
Longoria and Baston first took their relationship public in November 2013 at the Museo Jumex Opening dinner in Mexico City. At the time, a source told People, “He’s been sweeping her off her feet and courting her like a proper gentleman.” Clearly his strategy worked!

Baston is the president of Televisa, Latin America’s largest media company and the world’s largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate. Not. Too. Shabby.
This is Longoria’s third engagement, following previous marriages to Tyler Christopher of General Hospital fame from 2002-2004 and NBA player Tony Parker from 2007-2010. She was most recently dating Ready for Love contestant Ernesto Arguello.

Baston seems like a solid step up from her former loves, especially because he seems to share a passion for philanthropy. If the engagement scenario is any indication, this could be a good marriage. Or at least one that involves world travel and romance.
