When asked how Foster is doing post-split, Vanderpump told reporters at a TrevorLIVE Los Angeles, California event (which took place over the weekend) that she didn’t know, Us Weekly reports.
She continued, “I saw her last night. I have reached out to her before, and I — I just feel very sad about that. So I just feel very sad about that because I didn’t expect it, and I always thought she always had this unbelievable marriage, so I’m sad about that. Very sad about it.”
While Vanderpump’s own marriage to Kevin Todd is going well, she confessed to hating how unexpected Foster’s split was.
“I didn’t see it coming, and I hate that,” Vanderpump said. “Having been married for 33 years, I hate to see that.”
Divorce is never easy, but for Foster, it must be even harder as she is not in the best health, having struggled with Lyme disease for years — one of the reasons that reportedly led to the downfall of her marriage.
However, Foster is keeping her fighting spirit alive and recently took to Instagram to share an inspiring message about Lyme disease awareness.
She wrote, “I will walk to the end of the earth to find a cure for my babies so that they can live the healthy life that they deserve to live……… #UnitedWeStand #LDILow Dose Immune Therapy #Round2#LymeDiseaseAwerenes [sic].”
