The Twitterverse weighs in on Kim and Kanye’s baby’s name (POLL)

Kim Kardashian West gave birth on Saturday, Dec. 5, and Twitter fans are offering their opinions about baby West’s name.

Christmas came early for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Their baby boy, who was due on December 25, was born on Saturday, Dec. 5. Kim shared her news with fans on Twitter.


“He’s here!” she tweeted with a photo of her holding Kanye’s hand.

As soon as the news hit Twitter, speculation began about what the Wests will call their baby boy. The consensus is clear: Easton West, which starting trending as soon as news hit about Kim’s delivery.


“Kim, if you don’t name your child Easton you fail at life #EastonWest,” tweeted Jeffster.

Other Twitter fans have some different ideas.


Gabriellah tweeted a poll with some other name possibilities like East West (33%), South West (45%) and West West (22%).

When Kim Kardashian appeared on Ellen, she spoke about possible names for her son and said, “I do like the name Easton, Easton West,” she told DeGeneres. “I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it. I don’t think we’ll go another direction. It’s definitely not South, every time someone says South, I just roll my eyes.”

Sorry, Twitterverse fans hoping for a baby South to join his big sister North. It doesn’t look like they’re headed in that direction.
