Report claims Leonardo DiCaprio has sexual encounter with bear in new film
There are a lot of weird and wonderful rumors about celebrities, but the latest one involving Leonardo DiCaprio may be the most disturbing yet.
There's a claim about one of the scenes in DiCaprio's new film, The Revenant, that's been making its way around the Internet, and it's not surprising that it's gotten so much traction. Because DiCaprio's character reportedly gets attacked by a bear and then raped twice.
The Drudge Report posted an article claiming that the film contains a "shocking scene of a wild bear raping Leo DiCaprio!"
The article continued, "The explicit moment from Oscar-winning director Alejandro Iñárritu has caused maximum controversy in early screenings. Some in the audience escaped to the exits...."
The claims are so controversial that Fox Studios even felt the need to release a statement regarding them.
"As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the film is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs," a Fox spokesperson said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. "There is clearly no rape scene with a bear."
The upcoming Alejandro González Iñárritu film, which is set in the 1800s and follows the story of frontiersman Hugh Glass, is already creating a buzz, and according to The Guardian, it's already being tipped for an Oscar. Could this be Leonardo DiCaprio's first win (finally)?
