Many would argue that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans does not have the best taste in men, and reiterating those sentiments is the fact that her ex-husband is currently making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Evans was married to Courtland Rogers for 18 months before the couple decided to call it quits, but they weren't exactly good for each other. In 2013, about five months into their relationship, they were both arrested on domestic violence and charges relating to possession of heroin, TMZ reports.

Now Rogers is adding another arrest to his criminal record after he was picked up by cops in North Carolina for failure to appear in court on a number of charges, TMZ reports. These charges included heroin possession and two counts of probation violation.

As for Evans, she appears to have been keeping out of trouble lately. Instead, she's angering fans with her promotional stunts on Instagram, the latest being $35 wedding bands.

On Monday, Evans uploaded a promotional picture, as well as a lengthy spiel about the bands, but the reactions have been less than positive.

"Janelle [sic] is trying to brand herself out like the kardashians [sic] do.... The problem is they're more marketable and self-brand savvy. Rarely you'd see them peddling this cheap foolish nonsense shit. She needs to rethink who she affiliates with and do it in moderation, if that what she wants to do. And no I do not like the Kardashians or these lame ass ads. Just giving some input," one.crazy.beautiful.bitch shared.

But hey, excess promoting on social media beats jail time.
