7 Details from Joe Manganiello and Sofía Vergara's glamorous wedding weekend
The time has finally come for what is quite possibly the hottest couple ever to make it official. That's right: Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello's wedding weekend is upon us.
I mean, really, look at these two.
The ceremony isn't until later this weekend, according to E! News, but as we learned from the George Clooney/Amal Alamuddin hitching, the actual wedding is just the culmination of a series of numerous other mega-glamorous celebrations leading up to it.
The glam party route also seems to be the path that Vergara and Manganiello, who have been engaged since last winter, are taking as they prepare to walk down the aisle. Here are all the fabulous details we know so far.
1. It's a beach wedding
The couple and some family and friends arrived in Florida Thursday afternoon, where they were treated to a fancy cocktail party on a private beach at The Breakers Palm Beach, whose view looks like this:
2. Selfie-free zone
Guests will be required to check their cell phones at the door before the wedding and all of the events taking place leading up to it. It looks like Vergara might be abiding by this rule already, considering her Instagram hasn't been updated since she was at work last week.
3. It's going to be huge
Vergara and Manganiello have booked out 100 rooms for their wedding party, according to E! News, and another 50 private homes have been rented out in the area for more revelers.
4. There's not just gonna be any old wedding band playing
There are numerous live musical acts scheduled to play during the night of Manganiello and Vergara's nuptials and, considering the status of the bride and groom, we're guessing they're gonna be pretty cool. Also, we wouldn't be too surprised if some pictures of Manganiello's Magic Mike XXL costar, Channing Tatum, cutting a rug on the dance floor showed up.
5. The cake table is going to be the bomb
"Cake is my favorite thing. So the cake table is going to be super special, a big wedding cake and lots of desserts," Vergara told Martha Stewart Weddings.
6. The floral arrangements will be on point
"The flowers was a very important part for me for the whole wedding planning," Vergara said in a recent YouTube wedding countdown video. "I think the flowers is what makes the place festive and full of life and beautiful, so I wanted to pick colors that were going to represent what the moment was about."
7. Lots of Family will be there
There's no confirmation of any Modern Family cast members attending the wedding, but it's hard to believe any of them would miss it.
