Pretty Little Liars might actually kill off a major character in season 6B
Pretty Little Liars showrunner I. Marlene King has us scared for our favorite characters as we gear up for the Liars' time jump.
In an interview with MTV News, King revealed the new Big Bad's motive going into Season 6B as we catch up with the Liars five years after the end of Big A, aka CeCe Drake.
"This Big Bad has an agenda," King explained, "and it’s to find out why [someone] passes away — and to seek revenge on the person responsible... [the Big Bad] will kill people to get that answer."
"People," as in, plural. Meaning that more than one character could go down in Season 6B.
Lucy Hale echoed those sentiments. "It’s definitely life or death, and it’s smarter and edgier and deadlier. The stakes are definitely a lot higher. It’s not 'I’m going to expose your secrets.' It’s 'I’m going to kill you if you don’t give me what I want.'"
And while it seems unlikely that the show will ever off one of the four Liars, Spencer, Emily, Hanna and Aria, as well as Ali or any other character could be at risk.
Girl has been on the chopping block so many times now, it seems like maybe she'll finally meet her doom in Season 6B. Either that or she'll be the one to escape this new web of games.
Now that Spencer is rumored to be sleeping with Caleb, poor Toby might just get reckless in his rage and channel his anger at the wrong person. And by that I mean the Big Bad, who could in turn dispose of the meddling cop.
Sure, it seems like she'll be getting the help she needs when the show returns. Plus, she and Alison will reportedly have a great relationship after years of effort, but do we really think that she can just put all her Big A antics behind her forever?
4. Sara Harvey
Not much has been said about where our red coat will be in the new season, though we did get a glimpse of her in the sneak peek. Maybe that's because she won't be in the show for much longer?
5. One of the moms
The moms were always weirdly, semi-involved in the drama of Big A. Now, moving ahead to this new Big Bad, could the families finally be involved in a big way after one of them is offed by this new threat?
There's no telling how Jason feels about the whole CeCe thing (namely because, uh, they dated! Yuck!), but maybe we won't really get to find out. What if the Big Bad has it out for Ali and starts by going after Jason?
