And the man in question is not Flay. Instead, it’s executive producer of FabLife, Shane Farley. According to E! News, the pair met back in 2013 when he was meant to executive-produce De Laurentiis’ talk show with Flay.
Things are reportedly going pretty well for the pair, too, with a source close to the couple telling E! News that they are “in love” and quite serious.
De Laurentiis’ sister, Eloisa, reportedly posted pictures of the pair via social media (which have since been deleted), showing the couple celebrating Halloween together with several other family members — so Farley has already met the family!
There you have it, folks, and perhaps now those Flay and De Laurentiis rumors can finally be put to rest, especially since De Laurentiis recently revealed during an appearance of Watch What Happens Live why she would never date another celebrity chef.
“Like I said, I know better,” she told host Andy Cohen. “I’m one of them.”
She also explained why, in particular, she would not date Flay, describing him as a “good friend.”
She said, “We do get together on Food Network Star. Well, we’re very good friends. We’ve worked for many years together, but I don’t think that’s ever going to happen because I’m smarter than that.”
