Teen Mom's Gary Shirley reveals huge secret that will change his life forever
Teen Mom's Gary Shirley has tied the knot with his longtime love Kristina Anderson.
According to Radar Online, the two wed in a very hush-hush ceremony in late September that shocked even friends of the couple.
A source told the outlet, "Gary is a total loudmouth and tell everyone about his business. So it's shocking he only told a few people, and made them promise not to tell a soul."
The couple reportedly hadn't even announced an engagement.
Shirley became part of the Teen Mom world because of his tumultuous relationship with Amber Portwood on the series. The two share a daughter, Leah, and their relationship was often hostile and violent. The couple finally ended things when Portwood served 17 months in jail beginning in May 2012.
Following Shirley's relationship with Portwood, he and Anderson met. She got pregnant while the two were filming the first season of Teen Mom OG, according to Us Weekly.
And though Anderson and Shirley's relationship doesn't seem as hostile as his past with Portwood, the two definitely had a rocky beginning, since Anderson was still married when the two began their relationship.
Shirley confirmed the news during an interview with Dr. Drew Pinsky. "Married and separated [is] what I thought, but [she] was not."
"So she was cheating on her husband?" Dr. Drew asked.
"Yes, with me," Shirley confirmed. "But I wasn't aware of the situation."
It looks like it all turned out for the best now, though, since the two are starting a family of their own.
Shirley, who designs condoms and sells cookies, is constantly posting sweet messages on Twitter about his family.
Even he and Portwood, who is engaged to her new man Matt Baier, seem to have put the drama behind them for the sake of their daughter.
Congrats to the newlyweds!
