Friday is a good day and not just because it's almost the weekend. The official trailer for Netflix's Jessica Jones is finally here — and it's about time. Fans can now get a glimpse into the 13-episode Marvel series featuring Krysten Ritter as the titular lead, Jessica Jones.

As expected, Ritter is quite the badass as the former superhero turned detective who is trying to rebuild both her personal life and career. Of course, it's not easy, especially when the villainous Kilgrave (Doctor Who and Broadchurch's David Tennant) shows up and begins forcing people to do very bad things. With that said, it doesn't look like she gives up easy and isn't afraid to embrace her darker side.

The series also features Mike Colter (The Good Wife), Rachael Taylor (Crisis), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Wil Traval (Once Upon a Time), Eka Darville (Empire, The Originals) and Erin Moriarty (True Detective).

Are you ready? Here's the trailer in its entirety.

I think it's pretty clear: you don't want to be on her bad side.

How amazing is it that both Supergirl and Jessica Jones are coming out around the same time? Watch out, Superman.

3. When she literally throws someone

If that doesn't say badass, what does?

She's definitely a fighter. Don't mess with her.

Now that's a true hero.

7. When she's vulnerable

Being vulnerable isn't always a weakness. I have a feeling her vulnerabilities will push her to become stronger than she already is.

8. When she speaks the truth

She's right: "Booze costs money — usually," which is why most of us work.
