Chrissy Teigen perfectly responded to rumors that she's expecting twins
More than one bun in the oven?
That's what fans are speculating after Chrissy Teigen, who announced her pregnancy just last week, posted a photo of an already impressively sized baby bump.
Teigen posted the cute mirror selfie to her Instagram Sunday morning, writing alongside the pic that her baby bump is "early to the party"— Teigen is only a little over three months along.
But almost immediately, commenters were taking the considerable size of Teigen's early bump as an indication that there's more than one baby in the supermodel's future.
"Uh @ChrissyTeigen from the looks of that bump, I think u might be expecting twins!! Isn't it kinda early to be already shown like that?" one person tweeted. Another replied, "@ChrissyTeigen you got big fast! My bestie is due in Feb and she's ½ your size. Not twins? Probably triplets."
Teigen clearly didn't appreciate the gossip and speculation, because she quickly took to Twitter to clear the air.
"I did IVF. One at a time. It isn't twins. I can see the damn thing," she wrote, adding, "Get out of my uterus!"
She continued in later tweets, "Please stop. I put one embryo in. I have ultrasounds every few days. I didn't announce [my pregnancy] at a week. No more preg tweeting for me, lesson learned!! Back to food and reality TV and hay things. It's my own karma! I love bumps so I loved saying how round/big/beautiful they are on others. Don't worry, friends."
Here's hoping Teigen doesn't mean it — we couldn't stand it if she stopped posting updates on her adorable growing family.
