Pretty Little Liars releases new opening with 4 big changes (VIDEO)
Well, something sure looks different on Pretty Little Liars and I'm not talking about Spencer's bangs. When the beloved drama returns in 2016, fans having something to look forward to other than more mysteries and the Liars now being five years older.
On Thursday, E! Online released an exclusive look at the new opening for Pretty Little Liars. That's right, as creator I. Marlene King previously teased, the intro will be different from here on out. Forget about Aria being the lone character going "Shh!" not to mention Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Emily are no longer the only four characters in the title sequence. However, don't fret, because the theme song ("Secret" by The Pierces) remains the same. Thank goodness!
With that said, check out the new opening here:
Did you see all the changes from the original? If not, let me break it down for you.
1. Alison is front and center
Obviously, Ali is part of the intro and is in the center of the other four Liars. So, since she isn't the one in the coffin, who is?
2. The Liars have new looks
Now that PLL jumps five years ahead, the Liars are older, wiser and sporting new looks.
3. It's Emily's turn to "Shh!"
That's right, Shay Mitchell's character is the one shushing.
4. They will alternate shushing
As you can watch below in this other exclusive clip from E! Online, each Liar will get a turn to go "Shh!"
Pretty Little Liars returns in January on Freeform, the new name of ABC Family.
