Jenelle Evans injured by severe Hurricane Joaquin weather conditions
Jenelle Evans didn't make it out of Hurricane Joaquin unscathed.
According to Radar Online, Evans was hospitalized and had to get stitches on Saturday night after she slipped and fell getting out of her car in the driveway. The flooding from the hurricane had left the ground wet and slick, which led to her fall. She, her new boyfriend David Eason and her friend, Tori, had just gotten back to Evans' house after going out to dinner when the accident occurred.
A source told the outlet, "She busted her knee open," as well as her chin, which needed stitches. The outlet reports that she was released from the hospital the next morning. They even snagged photos of the painful-looking injuries, which you can see on their website. Viewer discretion advised: They are graphic.
Evans also shared an Instagram photo of the all the flooding in her neighborhood, due to the storm.
She captioned the photo, "My street yesterday late afternoon, schools are Def closed today! #hurricanejoaquin"
But it seems that prior to the hurricane and her unfortunate fall, Evans was enjoying the rainy weather with her new man, Eason.
And though Evans did make mention of the bad weather, she didn't say anything about her injuries other than to retweet Radar Online's article about her injuries.
The source added that Evans is "tired and in pain" but mending at home now.
Get well soon, Jenelle!
