Kim Zolciak had a health scare last week when she suffered a ministroke, which landed her in the hospital and put an end to her Dancing With the Stars journey. But the reality TV star doesn’t only have to worry about recovering, but she’s now also dealing with some harsh accusations.
Talk show host Wendy Williams suggested that Zolciak may have been “fibbing about the stroke” because she wanted to get off Dancing With the Stars — and Zolciak is firing back.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the mom of six posted an email from one of Williams’ staff asking if she would be able to make an appearance on the show via Skype. Zolciak captioned the image, “Absolutely appalling!! @wendywilliams how disgusting for you to insinuate I ‘faked’ my mini stroke on your show this morning!! You mad cause I didn’t come on your show! This clearly shows your warped mentality!!”
Zolciak’s message has sparked an argument among fans and critics alike, who have very opposing views.
“That woman should take a look at herself. She is behaving appalling [sic]. Just because she can say it makes it not fine to say it. You are to [sic] good for that show. She will make a big deal out of it but just ignore her. Not worth it,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the post.
Others were also on Team Zolciak, with user mrs.dd85 writing, “People are just cruel! Speedy recovery and ignore these individuals.” And melissadolll shared similar sentiments, writing, “Wendy probably needs the ratings and she’s jealous she didn’t last as long as you when she was on DWTS. Stay strong!”
But there are definitely a lot of Team Wendy fans out there, too.
“Chill out Wendy is awesome. Don’t take it so personal,” marysonia88 wrote.
“Wendy has a good point!” taylorm458 stated.
And Instagram user kingcofield had some criticism for Zolciak. He wrote, “This was what white women typically do try [sic] to get everyone to feel sorry for them girl you took like 3 selfies while having a stroke who the f*** does that? Oh I already said who!”
