Devious Maids: 7 things that need to happen in Season 4
Gather 'round, my fellow fans of Devious Maids. If you were scared that you'd never find out if Zoila and her baby survive or more about that explosion or if Rosie and Spence would ever get back together, no need to worry any longer.
Lifetime has renewed Devious Maids for a 10-episode fourth season, the network announced Thursday. If you need a moment to rejoice, take all the time you need. Then, when you're done, be sure to come back and read about what needs to happen during Season 4. I don't know about you, but Season 3 left me with plenty of heart palpitations, questions and hopes for the future.
With that said, here are seven things that need to happen during Season 4.
1. Sebastien dies
Even though it looked like Sebastien, the man who killed both Louie and Blanca, died during the explosion at the Powell mansion, there's a chance he could've survived. As much as I adore Gilles Marini, here's hoping his character is dead and gone.
2. Zoila and her baby survive
The last time fans saw Zoila, she experienced complications during labor resulting in the doctor asking Genevieve to prioritize Zoila or her baby. Let's just hope both live, because if one survives over the other or if they both die, well, that's just way too tragic and something I can't handle.
3. Jesse returns
As much as I admire Marisol's independence, it'd be nice to see one relationship work out for her. With that said, I'd be down for Jesse (played by Nathan Owens) to return and start dating Marisol again. Yes, they had their ups and downs, but in the end, they found common ground. This would be a win-win situation for their characters and fans.
4. Details about Carmen's child
During Season 3, it was surprisingly revealed that Carmen once gave up a child for adoption. I can only imagine that this will be a Season 4 storyline. I wouldn't mind seeing another side of Carmen — her motherly side.
5. Rosie and Mr. Spence reunite
These two just need to get it right and keep it together. Season 3 was a complete disaster for the newlyweds, you know, with Rosie's supposedly dead husband Ernesto coming back, Rosie choosing Ernesto over Spence, Peri returning to seemingly steal back Spence and then finally Spence losing his memory and forgetting all about Rosie. Basically, Rosie and Mr. Spence had better reunite, stat.
6. Adrian lives
Did Adrian die during that explosion at his house? Here's hoping he didn't, because I don't know if I can survive without Adrian and Evelyn's banter.
7. Evelyn finds happiness
Whether that's by not divorcing Adrian or adopting a child, Evelyn needs some true happiness in her life. Maybe Season 4 will give her that.
Season 4 had better hurry up and get here, because I need to see what happens, now.
