Judy Blume took to Tumblr earlier today for a fan chat in which users could submit questions to their most favorite author, Blume, and she'd spend an hour-ish answering them. Ever the careful adviser, Blume didn't rush through questions to try to get to as many as possible. Instead, she took the time to answer questions thoughtfully and sometimes with a bit of humor. We scoured the answers from the Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret author and found the best advice she gave to her adoring readers.

This woman! We didn't think it was possible for us to fall any more in love with Blume, but she proved us wrong in just an hour. Congrats to all the lucky fans who got their questions answered. And thanks, Judy Blume, for guiding multiple generations through growing up and getting over it.

Blume's most recent book, In the Unlikely Event, released earlier this summer, and she'll make a few sporadic book signing events this fall across the country. Good luck tracking her down!
