Whitney Port blasts haters with epic post about her 'ghostly' skin (PHOTO)
There's no denying that Whitney Port is a stunning woman who often looks flawless, but on Tuesday, The Hills alum revealed that she's tired of people hating on her when she doesn't wear makeup.
Taking to Instagram, Port wrote a lengthy caption about the nasty comments she receives whenever she posts pictures sans makeup, with people often telling her she looks "dead or anemic."
She continued to share how she's struggled with her skin over the years, including suffering from "terrible acne." But Port now feels the solution to keeping her skin "healthy and clear is mostly due to keeping it clean."
"So goodbye haters! I'm gonna embrace my bare, colorless, pale and ghostly skin because I don't need to hide behind anything. I urge all you out there to not be afraid of showing that beautiful, bare face of yours to the world. Join me and tag all your clean skin selfies using the hashtag #OurCleanSkinIsIn Let's do this!!!" she wrote.
And it appears that fans of Port are really inspired by her message because the comments on the post have been overwhelmingly positive.
User marissalynnnm applauded Port for being inspirational, writing, "Love it, I'm on the journey to clean clear skin too. When that day comes, I can't wait to go out fresh faced! This is inspirational."
And there are many other commenters who feel the same way, with comments on the image including, "You are gorgeous Whitney and a great role model for all the girls out there," and "I think you look fab! You inspired me to go out without makeup@tomorrow and I am with you on keeping my skin clean. I use great products twice a day and it really helps. Love you!!!"
Another Instagram user wrote, "I feel you With! [sic] I have very pale skin as well and no colour [sic] on my cheecks. [sic] People ask me if I'm sick or tell me to lie in the sun but I'm over it. I love your skin colour [sic] and mine as well!"
"Whitney, you have gorgeous clear skin, so who cares what the haters say," user melbell_au wrote. And we couldn't agree more. It's wonderful to see a woman embrace her natural beauty, despite the nasty comments that she may have received in the past.
