Hey, Cara Delevingne, maybe don’t quit your modeling day job.
There’s a fine line between love and hate, but if Richard Madden’s recent interview is any indication, that line will never, ever blur for he and Delevingne.
The Game of Thrones star was asked by Yahoo! Lifestyle what he thought about Delevingne’s now-disastrous, viral interview with Good Day Sacramento and the actor didn’t hold back.
“It was unprofessional. It made her seem ungrateful. She showed her age,” Madden, who played Rob Stark on the HBO hit, explained.
Madden also starred in Disney’s live-action Cinderella and used that experience as a baseline for why he so openly criticized Delevingne. “For Cinderella, I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions.”
Best of all, he added, “If you’re not capable of doing that gracefully, then don’t do it.”
Delevingne’s infamously rude interview happened while she was doing press for her recent film Paper Towns. During the interview, Delevingne can be seen rolling her eyes and responding sarcastically to the questions asked by the anchors before one finally has enough and tells her that maybe she should “take a little nap” and “get a Red Bull” when she tried to use the excuse that she was tired.
Delevingne also didn’t apologize for her behavior. Rather, she tweeted, “I work really really hard and love what I do, I don’t feel like I need to apologize for being human #sorrynotsorry.”
She further tried to justify her actions on Twitter by saying, “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humor.”
Well, Madden is also British, and he clearly doesn’t get it, either.
