RHOC's Meghan Edmonds' 'hate' for Brooks Ayers is starting to get creepy
Nosiness is basically a requirement for being on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Meghan Edmonds is the perfect fit for the show's cast, as she cannot stand the idea of minding her own business. Her investigation of Brooks Ayers is beginning to feel a bit creepy — it's time for her to back off.
When Brooks Ayers first announced that his cancer had returned, even his biggest skeptics were quick to lend their sympathy. Few actually suspected that he could be lying about his diagnosis in a ploy for sympathy. It was not until Meghan Edmonds began digging into his affairs that others began to question his claims. At first, Edmonds' skepticism was understandable, but at this point, she has gone way too far.
During tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Edmonds admitted to staging a full-on investigation of Ayers' cancer drama, complete with calls to his health-care providers and former lovers. That's right — a few innocuous online comments convinced Meghan to get in touch with one of Brooks' exes. Doesn't she have anything better to do with her time?
As of a few weeks ago, Ayers was the subject of a whole lot of criticism on Twitter, and while he is by no means the most popular RHOC cast member at this point, the skepticism is beginning to shift in Edmonds' direction. Edmonds' Twitter critics want to know why she is so obsessed with Ayers' cancer diagnosis and why she feels the need to dig into his personal affairs.
The haters on Twitter are not alone in their thinking that Edmonds is out of line. The reality star's own husband also feels that she has reached a new low with her obsessive cancer investigation. He told Edmonds to stop looking up dirt about Ayers online, but obviously, that prudent piece of advice went in one ear and out the other.
At one time, the idea of somebody stirring the pot more than Tamra Judge seemed impossible, but now, Edmonds has proven that Judge is not the only RHOC cast member capable of creating drama out of thin air. Regardless of Ayers' cancer diagnosis (or lack thereof), Edmonds has gone way too far and needs to give it a rest. Of course, this would not make for entertaining reality television, so RHOC fans shouldn't expect Edmonds to let up on the cancer issue.
