Jessa Duggar's pregnancy selfie accused of being a sin (PHOTOS)
Jessa Duggar is facing backlash from her fans once again.
But this time, we're not so sure the former 19 Kids and Counting star really deserves the hate she's getting.
On Thursday, 22-year-old Duggar, who is pregnant with her first child with husband Ben Seewald, took to Twitter to share an update on the bun in the oven.
"31 weeks and 4 days!" she captioned a mirror selfie of her rounded belly. The star is getting close to her due date in October, People magazine reports.
And while most fans who replied to the pic were supportive of Duggar, there was a handful who took the update as an excuse to hate on her.
"Do you really need 1,000 people telling you how great you look after every selfie?" one user tweeted at Duggar. Another replied, "Isn't vanity a sin?" And still another chimed in, "You spend an awful lot of time in front of that mirror. Sheesh."
The Duggar family has been embroiled in scandal and has come under fire from all angles lately since their oldest son, Josh, admitted to molesting underage girls as a teenager and, then, a few months later, was revealed to have an account on the cheating website Ashley Madison. Josh Duggar later publicly admitted to cheating on his wife and having a pornography addiction. He's now in rehab.
But Jessa Duggar has been one of the least controversial Duggars to date. She's come under fire in the past for some of her ultra-conservative political viewpoints, but for the most part, she's living a quiet life with her new husband and getting ready for the arrival of the first Baby Seewald. She's even publicly distanced herself from her brother, urging her fans to read a blog post written by her father-in-law that calls Josh Duggar "wicked."
