Amy Roloff has the saddest reaction to the idea of dating after her divorce from Matt Roloff you've ever heard, and we hope someone will prove her wrong.

The Little People, Big World star told NBC News correspondent Andrea Canning that she doubts she will ever be in a serious relationship again — and her reason is heartbreaking.

"I don't think anyone would be really interested," she said, adding that her ex is already "on the market, he's got people."

Hear that? That's the sound of our hearts shattering into a million tiny pieces.

Of course, her ex is much more optimistic about the dating game, because dudes always are.

"I'm not going to rule anything out" as far as dating is concerned, Matt said. "Right now I'm just getting to know myself and working on my health and taking care of the businesses and working on the farm. Let's see how time goes."

Not that Matt's attitude toward love isn't healthy, because it is — we just wish Amy had as much confidence, because she deserves just as much happiness.

The Roloffs made their comments during the Little People, Big World season finale, which airs tonight. You can watch an exclusive preview of the episode on People.
