Zendaya Coleman blasts haters who insulted her parents with epic comeback
Zendaya Coleman has proven time and again that she deals with controversial situations graciously, and her response to a nasty message about her parents was no exception.
Last week, a Twitter user shared a photo of the Frenemies actress and her parents, Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, along with the caption, "they made a gorgeous ass child lol." The caption is not terribly flattering, but it was the comments on the picture that were really nasty.
"her parents really ugly I really would cry," one person wrote.
But Coleman had the best comeback ever. Addressing the hate, she wrote, "First, I'm going to pray for you. While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people's parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicate [sic] their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow minds."
She continued, "So please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook…and while you're at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you."
We applaud Coleman for her reaction to these haters. We're not sure we could have remained as dignified in our response had someone so harshly attacked our parents. But this is further proof of what a beautiful and thoughtful person the actress is, and her fans have praised her for her response.
Of course, there were more rude comments, too. But, really, who cares about the haters?
