Here’s hoping Suicide Squad lives up to the hype.
The highly anticipated DC flick already has a ringing endorsement — from its cast, who revealed on Twitter today that they did something surprisingly permanent in support of the project.
From the photos they’ve been posting, it looks like several of the cast members have given each other matching tattoos that read “SKWAD.” #skwadgoals, anyone?
In one photo, actress Margot Robbie, completely decked out as her character, Harley Quinn, is working the gun, presumably on a forearm tat for director David Ayer, since the photo was posted to his Twitter account.

And Joel Kinnaman is rocking the tattoo on his bicep, thanks to Will Smith, who worked the gun.
“Got my #skwad tattoo:) Will has many many talents, tattooing is not one of them. It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter. #suicidesquad #willsmith #harleystattooparlour,” Kinnaman captioned the pic of himself and Smith, all smiles, after the ink sesh.
Even Jai Courtney is getting in on it, with a small, scribbled “SKWAD” on what looks like his wrist.
None of the tattoos are particularly small, so while we admire the cast’s dedication and their obvious bond from working on Suicide Squad together, we can’t help but hope, for all their sakes, the movie turns out as good as everyone seems to expect.
If Joel Kinnaman got a tattoo for Suicide Squad that says, 'Sqwad'… I'm pretty sure it better be the best movie ever.
