On Wednesday, Tori Spelling took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of herself and her four kids, but fans have noticed something in the picture that they are really unhappy with.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress captioned the snap, “We had such a great getaway… Thx @lodgetorreypines for being our home away from home! Xoxo.” But the only thing moms are concentrating on is the fact that two of her kids, Stella, 7, and Liam, 8, look to have had their hair dyed.

Comments on the picture include, “You don’t need to bleach your children’s hair tori, dark is beautiful too,” “What have you dyed the kids hair for? Hmmm,” and “okay why are Stella & Liam’s hair bleached!!?? Crazy!”

Moms are also concerned that the children are far too young to have their hair bleached. One concerned fan wrote, ” I don’t know in the US, but in France, it’s forbidden to dye kids’ hair. Reason? Too much chemicals! I understand people’s reaction, I would never dye my kids’ hair….”

Other fans agreed, saying, “Stellas [sic] too young to bleach her hair…” and “Your kids are awfully young to color their hair. Is this a Cali thing? Maybe we just raise kids a little different in the Midwest.”

But there are also those who think it’s no big deal, with people jumping to Spelling’s defense.

“Who cares if she dyes her kids hair. You do you, let her do what she does,” one person wrote. Another agreed, saying her children are at that age where they want to start experimenting.

“Her son is at an age when they start to want to look the way they want. There is nothing wrong with her bleaching Her kids hair. She’s an amazing mom it’s not cool to critize [sic] what she does. Just because she is a celebrity doesn’t mean she is different from any of us. Tori is someone most of us should learn from.”

Tori Spelling’s decision to allow her children to dye their hair has sparked a backlash, but it also creates an interesting debate. Would you allow your child to dye his or her hair? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
