Gordon wore Brown’s engagement ring around his neck, looking somber as he left his family home in Florida. He walked arm in arm with his mother.

Since Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub by Gordon in January, details of the case have continued to heat up. Brown, the only child of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, was in a coma for about six months before her death on Sunday.
According to Us Weekly, Gordon learned of Brown’s passing by reading about it online.
Gordon is estranged from the Brown/Houston family and is said to be unwelcome at her funeral, or any of the family plans to remember Brown.
The family seems to believe Gordon was somehow directly connected to Brown’s death, if not responsible for it. Brown’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, is suing Gordon for $10 million on Brown’s behalf, claiming that Gordon assaulted Brown, his live-in girlfriend, just hours before she was discovered unresponsive. The suit also claims Gordon took money from Brown’s account without permission.
And while Gordon has yet to comment publicly on the case, his mother made a statement on his behalf. “The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family,” she explained. “Nick loved and cared for Krissy deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart… Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”
It is also hard not to think that the ring Gordon is wearing isn’t its own kind of statement, proclaiming his innocence while also remembering Brown.
Us Weekly reports Brown’s funeral will be held this Saturday in Georgia.
