Former The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is serving time behind bars for fraud. But, according to a new report, she’s headed back to your TV screens a lot sooner than expected.

Bravo is reportedly working on a new show about the Giudice family, and TMZ reports that the network has offered Teresa a special guest appearance on it, which will take place from within the confinements of the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
The cameras are obviously not allowed within the prison, but that’s not a problem because Bravo has reportedly found a way around this by using a pay phone. And now, Giudice is all set to appear — via jail telephone — on a two-part TV special, which will show how her husband, Joe Giudice, is caring for their four daughters, and how the family is coping while she’s serving her time, TMZ reports.

But will Teresa be getting any money off of this?
According to TMZ, Bravo is allowed to pay the former reality TV star an appearance fee because the “Son of Sam” law, “which prohibits people from profiting off certain crimes,” only applies to specific violent crimes.

Giudice is more than halfway through her prison sentence and should be headed home in February, which is when her husband will start his 41-month sentence.
